After nearly two years of delay, Expo 2020 Dubai officially opened on October 1, 2021, bringing together representatives from more than 190 countries across a site equivalent to over 600 football fields.
Under the main theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,” Expo 2020 Dubai served as a global incubator for new ideas, while its subthemes — Opportunity, Mobility, and Sustainability — inspired people to protect the planet, explore new frontiers, and build a better future.
UDE contributed its part to this major global project — the largest worldwide event held after the pandemic — with the installation of 30 ACD-3008 digital Line Array columns in the Entrance Lobby. The result achieved a perfect balance between space and sound, delivering optimal speech intelligibility within a highly acoustically complex environment. The ACD-3008 columns were finished in a specific RAL color to ensure seamless architectural integration with the surroundings.
UDE Line Array columns incorporate digital signal processing with algorithms developed by our R&D department, delivering a high level of acoustic quality in acoustically challenging spaces while allowing for simple and user-friendly configuration and adjustment.
Additionally, like all UDE products, they are backed by a 4-year warranty.
